Family barbecue at the Fire Station

Two weekends a go we got to enjoy some very awesome weather in the beautiful San Bernardino Mountains, that weekend we also got the chance to go to Ken’s Station for a family BBQ.
I was happy he reminded me to pack my camera, he though it would be cool to get some crew shots, so I worked on them 
of course we had to get some family shoots too.
The whole familia: Ken, me, brother Matt, Dad Kevin, Mom Betty, Grandma Mimi and grandma Jakie in the bottom.
And one of my favorites, it seems like it should be the other way around right?

Browsing through women’s sewing and I saw your pretty top. It looks so simple and elegant or should I say simply elegant! The top looks like it could be finished within a few hours, but drafting the pattern about an hour? Anyway, I would definately like to sew this when I get some material that would be pretty enough. Perhaps the holidays coming up I will get lucky and blessed, both. Thanks.
