First Blogoversary

I still can’t believe how fast the time goes by. Last year I designed and started this blog using blogger and a very simple template. I kept this blog with only one post for about two months so the real blogoversary is April, after our wedding I finally had some time to focus on this space. So yeah! I am so proud, my little blog is one year old this month =]

I am always changing *little* things on the design but I wanted to show you all 3 templates that kind of marked this past year – I know what you are going to think, they all pretty much look the same :P But it’s hard to make a full redesign when there are a lot of things I still liked about the previous version =]

[You can click to enlarge them ]

This one was the very first blogger template I designed, I started with the design of my HowJoyful logo, a very simple background and social icons.

Then 2 months after I started blogging regularly I decided to make some shape changes on the header, changed the fonts and added different sidebar widgets.

And of course, once I made my switch to WordPress I had to change things around again =] Updated the logo, fonts and added different pages to list my tutorials and information at the very top.

Now that this blog is one year old I thought it was time for a next session of changes, I added easy to share buttons, changed fonts, added an author bio at the end of each post and prettified the footer =] So if you are on Google Reader you should come over and check the last changes!

I am so happy about this past year of blogging but bummed about the little time I’ve had lately to blog (especially since I hurt my wrist last week so I’m not blogging at all) but this weekend was my last work day at the Ski Resort and now I will have time to focus on my Design business and blog.

Finally, I would like to thank all of you reading my humble blog and especially those of you who left comments – I think all of us bloggers LOVE comments =] This past year has been so awesome and the whole blogging experience would have not been the same without you, so Thank you! I am so looking forward to this next year =]
