My Dear MIL lost her camera cover on her vacation trip to Hawaii a few weeks a go, so when she came back she was kind of bummed about it and ask me if I could make something for her. She loved this red pattern of fabric, and I got to work! It’s a very simple project that only took me about 30 minutes I used outdoor canvas for the outside and oatmeal linen for the inside.

Note: This tutorial is for my Mother in law’s Canon PowerShot SD630 camera, I can not guarantee it will fit other models or brands.

MATERIALS:

• 2 pieces of 6.25×4.25 inches (5.8×10.8 cm) one of each fabric for the body
• 2 pieces a little bigger than the body of lightweight interfacing  (I use pellon 808)
• 2 pieces of 1.5×3.5 inches (3.8×8.8 cm) also one of each fabric for the strap
• Small piece of Batting( you can also substitute this with  felt)
• Small piece of Velcro

Last week was MIL’s B-day! (Feliz Cumpleaños again Betty!) and we all went out for dinner, I wanted to wear something cute so I made this red ruffle neck top, I spice it up with one of my folded rose headbands and I was ready!

I took some pictures and of course Curly wanted to be a part of it too! He loves cameras

Next week is my Mom’s B-day, I wish I could just go have dinner with her too!

It took me longer than I had planned, but finally today HowJoyful is finally powered by WordPress!

I know I promise to share a tutorial this week, but I am going to have to leave it for next one. This week was very very busy in the HowJoyful house, because I am planning a moving! Howjoyful is moving to WordPress and its something I’ve being fighting ever since I started this blog (only a few months a go), I love Blogger, but I realize with the growing request for my services as a Blog designer, I need to be able to provide better organize information.

So hopefully next week you will see some changes around here {crossing fingers for the best!} AND to celebrate the changes, I will give away one of this lovely handbags!

I love Anthropologie, Is not just the awesome accessories that I am always in love of, or their cute clothes with such a romantic look, or just the super creative window displays that make me drool all over. Is such a cool place to get inspired!

And my latest obsession have been this beauties:

Amazing colorful ruffly shower curtains! in LOVE!

If we only had a shower with curtains and not glass door =( BUT I think this would be an amazing pop of color for the craft room, I LOVE ruffles! I am always putting ruffles on my clothes, so it makes sense right?
This week I will be sharing a tutorial for one of my favorite handbags, a hint! ->  it has ruffles!
