Now let's dig into this craft table inspiration post and all the options available to make the most out of your space and keep you organized!
Craft table with storage
Having storage along with your work surface is something that I grew to like so much, that when I recently updated my sewing table. I decided to include storage, so I could make the most out of the space around my table. Here are some wonderful options for combining a desk and storage for your crafts:
1South Shore Crea Craft Table with Open and Closed Storage: This craft table offers 2 large storage modules, a spacious top, and a wide drawer, perfect for keeping all your supplies organized.
2Left or right corner desk: This lovely desk is perfect for crafting, it features 2 standard drawers, 1 drawer for standard/legal documents or to store taller craft supplies, and plenty of open cubby space.
3Corner desk with adjustable shelves: This super cool desk offers ample surface of area to work on the surface and 10 adjustable shelves to help you stay organized. The desk can be assembled on the left or right hand side and includes a pull out keyboard tray.
4Bookcase craft desk: With plenty of side storage, this table offers 10 different shelves to organize your craft supplies and fabrics. The assembled dimensions are 55″ wide x 40 ¾” deep x 38½” high.
Simple craft table
Another option is to have a simple frame for your craft table, this allows you to add a rolling cart underneath, or it just makes the room look airier. This is the option I decided to go for my first craft table, just two simple sawhorses and a tabletop with a big cutting mat.
1Corner simple desk: Both sides of this space-saving study desk are the same length fits snugly in a corner to maximize your space.
2Mid century minimal desk: The Desk offers a spacious top for your laptop, sewing machine, and for working on crafts. Make the most of this piece’s versatility by using it along with a craft cart.
3Adjustable height sawhorse desk: This striking contemporary desk can be adjusted to 9 different heights ranging from 25 in. to 36 in.
4 Signature Design by Ashley Bayflynn: This desk has an unmistakably fresh feel with its whitewash finish and metal sawhorse legs. Measures 47.25″ W x 23.25″ D x 36.5″ H. Adjustable height from 24.5″ to 36.5″
Storage solutions for under your desk
I quickly realized that under the table you can find some extremely valuable space, so it makes so much sense to add cabinets or rolling storage that you can neatly pull under when you are done with.
1Utility storage rolling cart: Super cute Turquise cart to help you organize your craft supplies, it has 4 heavy-duty casters (2 lockable) and handle design make it easy to move anywhere and stop stably even on a slope.
2Solid wood 6-drawer roll cart: Drawers are easily removed to be carried to a working area for crafting / sewing, the whole unit can be stored under your desk or rolled for easy access. Drawers accept reams of 11″ x 17″ paper.
35-Drawer mobile side cabinet:This expanded multi-drawer storage has 5 Drawers plus 2-compartment cabinet, perfect for for your craft room or office, to get everything organized and stored.
Storage solutions for the side of your table
1Rolling craft storage cart: This cute cart also hasstorage for for rolls of wrapping paper in the back, making it perfect to store and organize your supplies in the drawers and shelves. It has three drawers, two dowel rods for dispensing ribbon, twine, or anything else on a spool and two open shelves for heavy items.
2Craft tower with swivel: This base with storage on all sides, includes a pegboard back and corkboard panel – keeping things organized and easy to grab. Two storage drawers with full-extension slides because everyone needs a place to hide their clutter and chaos. Two adjustable shelves for flexible storage options and metal trays for additional storage of your craft supplies.
312-Cube organizer: Stackable 12-cube design great for quick organization (includes 6-back customizable panels). This unit can be placed vertically or horizontally.
4Freestanding floor cabinet: This tall storage cabinet takes up little floor space while making a big difference in the storage for your craft room or office.

I would love a sewing table like this too, but first need to convince my husband that it would look good sharing his office space (which is a brilliant room for light)!
